Live Auction Items:

1.) 3 Yr Old Praying Hands Photo: This precious photo of Mrs. Piatt’s preschoolers’ hands folded in prayer around 1st Thessalonians 5:15 will continually remind you to take your cares to the Lord in prayer. Project Manager (PM): Brian & Carrie Burge

2.) 4 Yr Old Keepsake Cookbook: This fun book with special recipes contributed by the VCS four year old students and photos of each throughout will speak of preschool friends and memories in years to come. PM: Heidi Achenbach

3.) Kindergarten Painted Canvas: Miss Johnson’s class created this rainbow-colored canvas reminder of the message in Matthew 11:20 that faith changes things. PM: Danielle Hall 

4.) 1st Grade Photo Canvas: This beautiful heart reminds us that often small hands show love in the most memorable ways. PM: Andrea Younker & Lacy May

5.) 2nd Grade Cross: Numerous names of Christ in students’ handwriting are joined to portray the Old Rugged Cross. PM: Brandy Wamsley

6.) 3rd Grade Collage: Thousands of pictures of the 3rd graders miraculously compose a beautiful picture of Christ above a beloved promise from the book of Isaiah. PM: Kristy Waters

7.) 4th Grade Tree: Students create a beautiful Tree of Life by interweaving their personal strings into a collaborative background which highlights this unique tree. PM: Elizabeth Brockelsby

8.) 5th Grade Mirror: A unique mirror showcases student artwork showing God’s creation and love for mankind. PM: Carol Heberling

9.) Expand Project: Donations to the Expand Project will allow VCS to provide much needed space for whole-class projects, enrichment activities, STEM lessons, and the after-care program. 

10.) Church Bench: This beautiful repurposed bench is perfect for the entryway in your home. Accompanying the bench are two specialty pillows, a shelf with hanging sign, and much more. Donated by Lee and Dyanne Skinner of Dear Yesteryear

11.) Youth Rifle: Hunting enthusiasts will want this Henry Lever Action Rifle in .22l, L, and LR. The rifle has a blue receiver and barrel with walnut stock and foregrip. This item also includes a 365 day unlimited family range membership at Powderkeg Outfitters for firearms or archery. Donated by Jeremy Piatt and Josh Assad

12.) Hilton Head Vacation: Spend relaxing days on the beach or kayaking on the lagoon when you purchase a week-long stay in a luxurious 3 bed, 3 bath villa located in Palmetto Dunes, SC. Dates will be mutually agreed on by purchaser and owner. Donated by Doug and Kari Skinner 

13.) Christmas Program Package: This package provides 2 parking places and 8 comfy seats in the front row, center stage for the VCS Christmas Program. In addition, your family will enjoy a delicious meal before the program prepared by Abbey Corso, well-known chef extraordinaire.

14.) Vet for a Day: A future vet will enjoy spending 4 hours with the doctors of Countryside Veterinary Service.  This will be an up close experience with their patients and staff.  Every day is an exciting day at Countryside because they never know what will walk in the door. Donated by Stacey Funderburk

15.) Sheriff for a Day: The lucky winner will spend time with Christian County Sheriff Kettelkamp touring the Christian County Courthouse/jail and throwing out candy as he/she rides with the sheriff in the parade in Morrisonville. The lucky VCS winner will meet a new friend from St. Mary’s Catholic School as they share the day together.

16.) Cubs Tickets: Four baseball fans will watch another showdown between the Cubs and the Cards from a Cubs Skybox at Wrigley Field on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Food and drinks are provided by host/donor Mr. Bill Barry.

17.) Cardinals Tickets: Cheer on the Redbirds with 4 tickets to a Cardinal game on a mutually agreed upon date. Tickets are in sec. 161 which sit on the third base line and are handicap accessible. Donated by J.I. McDowell of Angelo’s

18.) Meal-a-Month: Have 12 scrumptious meals, feeding four adults, delivered piping hot to your door once a month for the next year. All you have to do is grab a drink and enjoy. Donated by various VCS families


CATALOG: Aumann Auctions has put forth every effort in preparing the catalog for this auction to provide accurate descriptions of all items. All lots are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with all faults, imperfections and errors of description. Due diligence is the responsibility of the bidder/buyer. Printed statements or descriptions by staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion.
PAYMENTS: All sales are final. All accounts must be settled at the conclusion of the auction. No credit card charge backs will be allowed. We accept Cash, Checks, Visa and MasterCard ONLY. Your credit card will be charged for your purchases, plus a 5% Credit Card Fee, plus any applicable taxes. Note: Checks may be processed the day of the auction; be sure to have adequate funds in your account. Each transaction necessary to collect insufficient funds will have a $25 fee imposed in addition to the liability of the Default of Buyer below.
DEFAULT OF BUYER: Successful bidder not paying for items at the end of the auction will be considered in default. Such default by the Successful Bidder will result in that Bidders liability to both the Seller and Aumann Auctions, Inc. Seller shall have the right to (a) declare this contractual agreement cancelled and recover full damage for its breach, (b) to elect to affirm this contractual agreement and enforce its specific performance or (c) Seller can resell the items either publicly or privately with Aumann Auctions, Inc. and in such an event, the Buyer shall be liable for payment of any deficiency realized from the second sale plus all costs, including, but not limited to the holding/transporting/storage costs of the items, the expenses of both sales, legal and incidental damages of both the Seller and Aumann Auctions, Inc. In addition, Aumann Auctions, Inc. also reserves the right to recover any damages separately from the breach of the Buyer. The purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by Aumann Auctions, Inc. in the collection of funds. The purchaser also agrees that a storage/handling fee of 2% per month be added to the balance of any unpaid balance due Aumann Auctions, Inc. and any other costs or losses incurred by the Buyers failure to adhere to these terms. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be litigated or arbitrated in Montgomery County, Illinois at the option of both the Seller and Aumann Auctions, Inc.
Both the Successful Bidder and Seller shall indemnify Aumann Auctions, Inc. for and hold harmless Aumann Auctions, Inc. from any costs, losses, liabilities, or expenses, including attorney fees resulting from Aumann Auctions, Inc. being named as a party to any legal action resulting from either Bidders or Sellers failure to fulfill any obligations and undertakings as set forth in this contractual agreement.

CONDUCT OF THE AUCTION: Conduct of the auction and increments of bidding are at the direction and discretion of Aumann Auctions, Inc. Aumann Auctions, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason and also reserves the right to cancel this auction, or remove any item or lot from this auction prior to the close of bidding. All decisions of Aumann Auctions are final.
Your bid on this auction indicates both an understanding and an acceptance of the terms of this contractual agreement between yourself and both Aumann Auctions, Inc. and the Seller and that you, as the Bidder, are prepared to purchase items under these terms and conditions.
